If you buy a foundation and don’t love the way it’s looking on your skin – try a different way of applying it. By hand, stippling brush, flattop kabuki, beauty blender (or generic version) – each give a totally different finish to foundation!
Example: after hearing rave reviews on Revlon Colorstay Whipped foundation, I bought it and applied it like I always did my original Colorstay, with my Flat Top Buffer (Fb 07) from Sedona Lace and I didn’t like the way it looked at all. Then I tried with my hands and still was not impressed.. I felt it looked cakey no matter what I did and couldn’t understand why so many loved it… Then I tried it with my Real Techniques Stippling Brush and LOVED it. Now I prefer the whipped formula over the original!
