Hey dolls!

If you are a regular on my blog, you know that my absolute favorite glosses are the Revlon Super Lustrous.. But, they have been repackaged and reformulated and are NOTHING like the older ones… Unfortunately….

But, Revlon has some of the best lip products in the drugstore.. The Colorburst lipsticks have been raved about for years but I don’t hear much about the Colorburst glosses and I’m not sure why; they are great. Creamy and super pigmented, they aren’t sticky but they last for quite a while! There is a slight scent from the tube, but unscented when applied.

I only have 4 shades but I definitely want to pick up more:

From left to right: Crystal Lilac (002), Rosepearl (014), Bordeaux (016), and Fire (018)

I love the packaging: glass tubes and that cute pattern that matches the Colorburst lipsticks. The shade names are written in very small print on the bottom, I wish they were easier to read but that’s the only complaint I have!

The applicator is nice, it holds a good amount of product and the tip is perfect for getting more precision on the cupid’s bow and outer corners.

I’m only going to show swatches on my hand because the deeper shades can look streaky when worn alone (no problem wearing lighter shades alone) but when worn over lipsticks, the dark shades are amazing.

Crystal Lilac is a beautiful cool toned pink with tiny duo-chrome sparkles. It looks amazing over lipsticks but is also very pretty when worn alone.

Rosepearl is true to it’s name, a gorgeous rose color with beautiful pearly sparkles. This is VERY sparkly and although it’s pigmented enough to be worn alone, it can look a little too unnatural.. So I love using this over lipsticks, on the center of my bottom lip to make it look fuller.

Bordeaux is a stunning wine color with a little sparkle, it’s a perfect fall color and amazing over berry lipsticks.

Fire is a very bright and shiny red, absolutely no sparkle or shimmer. I mentioned it in my Top 10 Red Drugstore Lippies post.

There are 15 shades in the collection and range from $6.48 to $7.49 at the drugstore.
