I wanted to quickly do another what’s on my nails; these are super fun to do and this time….. I need some input from you guys! But first, the polish 🙂
Rimmel London’s 60 Seconds nail polish in Mintilicious! It’s a gorgeous color, very bright and vibrant – more than it appears in the tube. Definitely more on the blue side instead of the usual mint green shades.
These polishes cost $1.50 wherever Rimmel is sold (drugstores, Walmart, etc.) and they are pretty opaque. Some of the shades you can get away with only one coat but I always apply two.
Interestingly enough, some shades seem to last longer than others… I mentioned the lavender shade in my August Favorites; that one lasted longer for me than this shade. Mintilicious lasted maybe a day and a half for me.. With the Seche Vite top coat over it… Which is probably the best top coat I’ve ever used, but it seems to work better with different formulations (if that makes sense).
So, that brings me to my question for you!

I’m obsessed with this color. I bought it mid-spring and I think I’ve worn it 3 or 4 times–which says a lot, considering I change my nail color EVERY week. It actually lasted really long on most of my nails…I use the Revlon Colorstay GelShine top coat. It seems to work really well with whatever polish I’m wearing underneath!! All of their Colorstay products seem to hold true to their name!
That gives me hope! It’s heartbreaking when a color you love doesn’t last as long as you’d like. I’d look at the Revlon one all the time but never end up buying it. I’ll definitely pick it up and give it a try 🙂
