Today I want to review a product that has been really raved about on Youtube…

Big Sexy Hair’s Volumizing Dry Shampoo

You’ve probably heard about this from a hundred beauty gurus, how much they love it and how great it works.

Well…. I feel the total opposite. I fell into the hype, and let me start by saying that this stuff is NOT cheap! This tiny bottle is 3.4oz and cost me a little over $10!!! Crazy -but – if this were a great product, I wouldn’t care so much about the price. And unfortunately I have a few huge complaints about this product…

First, which may not happen to everyone but it happened to me… After the first use, the spray cap must have broken because the second time I grabbed for this, it did not spray out anymore. It drips a tiny bit of product out and that’s about it.

So whenever I try to use this – I end up squirting a little bit into my palms and then working it into my scalp… Had this product not been so pricey, I would’ve just tossed it!

And for my other complains:

• When it did spray, it was really strong so I’d have to hold it far away just so it didn’t spray a ton of product on one area.
• The smell is really strong and not pleasant, in my opinion… And it’s not one of those scents that lasts for a few minutes and then goes away. I’ll smell this on my hair all day long… If it were a nice smell, I wouldn’t mind but I really don’t enjoy the way this smells at all.
• Lastly, and my biggest complaint – it makes my hair feel SO gross. Really heavy and dirty, and just …. gross…. Absolutely terrible.

Yes, it does volumize but that’s about where the good ends for me. I will never purchase this again. Ever….. I know this is a pretty strongly opinionated post and I mean no offense to anyone who may like this! I wish I liked it; I had heard such great things but this really just did not work for me at all.
