Hey beauties! In November I reviewed two shades from the new Revlon Matte balm line – Unapologetic & Elusive – and I grabbed another shade that I love! I haven’t tried any of the lacquer balms but these matte ones are amazing. They are so incredibly creamy, smooth and they apply like a dream. They aren’t drying at all, which is fantastic for matte shades and they leave a nice stain on the lips as the day goes on. I hope they release even more shades because they are so great.

This shade is called Standout, the deepest red in the collection.

If you haven’t seen these yet, the packaging is the same as Revlon balm stains – they twist up so there is no sharpening needed.

Standout is a gorgeous cool toned deep red.

When first applied, there is a beautiful shine to it but as you wear it, it goes more matte.

These are so creamy that you need to be careful applying because it’s easy to make a mess and to not get a super precise application. With these more vibrant shades you definitely need a mirror to apply, but the lighter shades in this line can just be thrown on and I always keep the shade Elusive in my purse!

* Although these look like the balm stains, these are not stains! But they feel so good when applying, I don’t mind reapplying throughout the day. And like I said previously, the darker shades definitely leave a nice stain on the lips 🙂
