Hey beauties! I have a new obsession…. And my drugstore queens will be happy to hear it isn’t anything high end for once! 🙂

The Maybelline Creamy Matte lipsticks…. I went on the most insane hunt for these when they were first released… Like, literally went to 20 or so drugstores, back to back in one day searching (thank you, Damian for always supporting my ridiculous makeup obsession)…. Could not find them, gave up…. Walked into a Rite Aid the next day to pick up something else and saw a brand new full display…. Figures! But it was totally worth the searching because I am in love!

I have 3 out of the 10 shades, most shades I knew I had a million of in other brands/formulas so I passed on them.. But the three I own, I have used daily ever since purchasing.

I literally can’t rave enough about this formula. They are so creamy and smooth to apply, they don’t drag on the lips at all. They feel moisturizing yet look matte on the lips. They last for hours and they didn’t feel drying until 5 or so hours in, and that’s typical for any lipstick I wear. Pigmentation, on point… I could go on and on. Let’s get into the shades I picked up!

Divine Wine:

Divine Wine just screams Fall-time! It’s a stunning deep berry-red, wearable for any skin tone. It’s so beautiful.

This shade is perfect for easy makeup days; throw some winged liner on or even skip the liner and just put some gorgeous whispie lashes and this lipstick! This is perfect for the holidays as well 🙂

Lust For Blush is the next shade…

This is a gorgeous rosy pink, very wearable for any skin tone.

I love this one because it looks different depending what lip liner you wear underneath so it’s one you can play with and manipulate into that perfect lip you’re looking for. It’s gorgeous for Spring & Summer but I’d say this is one of those pink shades that can definitely be worn in Fall & Winter too. Fantastic pigmentation and lasting power – you can see the red on my arm from trying to scrub off Divine Wine!

And last, but certainly not least… The one that inspired my obsessive hunt… Touch Of Spice:

This is such a unique shade.. It’s a spicy reddish, warm color… It’s so hard to describe. This is the perfect shade for Fall & Winter. I am OBSESSED.

Again, absolutely fantastic pigmentation and lasting power. So smooth and creamy, moisturizing and comfortable to wear.

This shade is perfection!

I can’t rave enough about these lipsticks. Maybelline lippies are always fantastic but these really blew me away. I can’t get over how creamy and moisturizing they feel, I’ll rub my lips together and expect them to feel dry and they don’t. These are the kinds of mattes every brand should make!!

These lipsticks range from around $5.49-7.99 depending where you get them; Maybelline is sold online, at drugstores, Target and Ulta!
