Did some running around today..

I apologize for the horrible iPhone pictures!! I’m trying to save up for my camera, but you know how it goes.. Money comes in and goes right back out just as quickly! Puchi (my dog) is due for a vet visit so that will be a good couple hundred out the window… It’s hard being a single mother!! LOL 🙂

Anywho, I’ll go over what I got..

Grabbed a new toner from the Vitamin Shoppe.

I usually get the lavender one but my skin’s been horrible lately and getting used to my typical routine so I figured I’d try this one and see how my skin reacts now. It was $9.49

I also grabbed this.. I’ve always had terrible under-eye puffiness and love other 100% pure products.. This was $18.79.. I’ll give this a try and post a review in a few weeks.

Then I went to Target, of course…

I had a coupon for a Maybelline Vivid lipstick, I have a few of these (am thinking of posting swatches and a review soon) and I’ve been eyeing this one for a while now. I have an obsession with red lipsticks and can’t ever have enough shades! 🙂

The Elf section of my Target is almost always totally destroyed.. It had been recently stocked, was already sold out of majority of what I wanted but I thought this color was gorgeous (Pink Passion).. The photos don’t do it justice. It’s a neon, super bright and vibrant pink. It felt slightly powdery when I swatched it but I don’t think it will be too bad, I have two other Elf studio blushes and I love them.. I also got the HD powder because I’ve heard such good things. Haven’t opened that yet, but I can post a review on anything anyone wants to hear about.

These Up & up crease brushes are amazing. I’d highly suggest you pick some up! They are so soft, great for blending and I love using them for a nice sweep of crease color. Only $1.97 each!

The other things I got I didn’t take photos of.. I got a Sally Hansen strengthening treatment.. There are so many to choose from but this one seemed to call my name more so than the others lol my nails break and chip easily so for only $1.92, I figured I wasn’t risking much by trying it.

I had a coupon for Maybelline Mega Plush mascara so I got that as well, in Very Black.. I haven’t used this previously on myself, but I did on my sister while doing a makeup app and liked the results on her lashes.. I have extremely long lashes naturally so my main goal in mascara is more volume and it isn’t easy to find one that doesn’t make my lashes look spidery after only one application. I like most Maybelline mascaras (the original colossal is one of my favorites) so I’m anxious to try this one.

I also got the Covergirl & Olay concealer stick (balm).. Emily from Beauty Broadcast likes this and the stick concealers were always some of my favorites so I wanted to try it. I was looking for that jar one that is so popular lately but it was sold out in my color.

While shopping, a guy walks down the aisle I’m in and is on the phone, you could tell he was annoyed and embarrassed.. He wanders up and down every aisle for a few minutes, then stops at the NYC section and says something about a bronzer, is looking at all the options and couldn’t find whatever the girl on the phone wanted… So I lean over and point to NYC’s Sunny bronzer and say, “This is a good one.” then go back to my shopping. A few seconds later he grabs it, throws it in his cart and says to her, “This girl says it’s good so you’re getting it and you better like it.”. Then says thanks to me and practically runs from the aisle. LOL men are so clueless when it comes to makeup. So cute.. Just had to share 🙂
