This concealer has been talked about quite a bit in the online beauty community lately.. So naturally, I had to try it out š
Originally I purchased the lightest shade – very light 205 – (I am super pale so I’m usually the lightest shade or close to it) through the packaging you can see a bit of the product and it looked about the right color… But what I hadn’t anticipated is the white “serum” swirl actually lightening the color.. Once you rub the two together, it lightens the concealer quite a bit… So ‘Very Light’ ended up being ghostly pale once applied.. I returned it and got the shade light 210 instead.. This is a pretty good color for brightening as well as concealing and as I’ve mentioned in previous posts.. I love any concealers that brighten under the eyes.
I forgot to take a picture before I stuck my finger in there! LOL You can still see the swirl at least.. In both concealers, there was this cracking and initially I was concerned it was dried out or would in the future but as soon as you touch it, it isn’t dried out at all. You can slightly see how much lighter this gets when mixed together.
The consistency isn’t at all what I expected – it is MUCH lighter. I thought for sure it’d be a very thick consistency.. It’s hard to describe but it almost feels more like a liquid once you rub your finger in the product. It’s not heavy but the coverage is great and it blends beautifully. I’ve only used this a few times so far but I enjoy it a lot and I love that it doesn’t settle into any of my fine lines.
Overall, I’ve been enjoying this quite a bit.. A little bit goes a long way so although this costs around $12.99 at the drugstore, and is quite small, I definitely see this lasting for months (if not a year or more).
Thank you for reading! I hope you have beautiful weather wherever you are! š
