About a week ago I was sent some hair care products by the company Hask Beauty for review; Hask products can be found at the drugstore, as well as K-Mart, Walmart and Family Dollar! I’ve never seen these products in store before and I was super excited to try them out! I’m always on the hunt for hair care products that I genuinely love. I’m very picky – especially about shampoo – and I was happy to hear that these are sulfate-free as well as paraben-free.

S1

S2I received products from two of their new lines: a shampoo, conditioner, deep repair masque and hair oil from the Keratin Protein and Argan Oil line (as well as a cute pink bathroom caddy and two Twistbands!) .. So generous of the company!!

S3I first tried the Argan Oil Repairing Shampoo & Conditioner because my hair is pretty damaged from dying it all the time.

These have a citrus-type smell – I love it!

A little about the sulfate-free claims…. For those who don’t know, sulfate-free shampoos are great for anyone with dyed hair! Sulfates can quickly rinse the color from your hair. But one reason why many people, myself included, have a hard time finding a sulfate-free shampoo that they love is because sulfate is what makes shampoo foam up… And I don’t know about you but when shampoo doesn’t foam, it just feels like it’s not cleaning my hair as well! .. Although that may not be true, I think it’s just programmed into my head because it’s what I’m so used to… I’m happy to say these actually foam up really well! If I hadn’t known this was sulfate-free, I would have never guessed. Afterwards my hair felt clean and soft and smelled great.

S4How cute is the packaging!!

S5I also tried the masque and I love it! It has the same smell as the shampoo and conditioner, it’s a thick white masque that you apply for 1-2 minutes after shampooing. This left my hair so soft and I definitely felt like it would help heal damage if used regularly.

S6

Next up, I tried the Argan Oil Healing Shine hair treatment! This is an oil similar to any hair oil you’d find, you can apply it to damp or dry hair. I applied while damp, from my ears down and focused it mainly on my ends. You only need a tiny amount, maybe a dime or nickel size depending on how long and thick your hair is. This is meant to strengthen and treat damaged, dry hair… I’ve found that some oils can leave your hair feeling heavy and this one doesn’t.. My hair felt really soft after and although I badly need a trim and I find my ends feeling somewhat brittle, this helped nourish all the way down to my ends! My hair didn’t feel heavy or greasy at all. I love this!

The next time I washed my hair I tried out the other set of products:

S10The Keratin Protein Smoothing Shampoo and Conditioner.. These smell amazing!

This shampoo foams up even better than the Argan Oil one! My hair felt extremely clean and soft after…. I honestly couldn’t choose which I like better out of the two sets. I love them both! I was pleasantly surprised considering how picky I am, I never expected to genuinely love these!

S9The Smoothing Deep conditioner is meant to soften and prevent breakage to weak, damaged hair. As with the other masque, it’s thick and super nourishing.

S11After the shower, when my hair was damp I applied the Smoothing Shine Oil from my ears down.. I woke up with silky soft hair and I really do notice a little more shine!

I am so impressed with these products. Before I started writing this I went on Hask’s website to see where you can purchase these and was totally shocked that they are drugstore products! I thought for sure you’d have to order them online.

I really recommend these for anyone with dyed, dry or damaged hair and even someone who just wants to avoid sulfates and parabens. As I said above, I can’t really choose which I like more – I enjoyed every single product! I’m excited to continue using these and to see just how much they repair all this damage 🙂
