Hello, my loves! I’ve been doing quite a few high end reviews lately so I wanted to get back to my “home” and do another post for my drugstore queens (and kings)… If you follow my Instagram, you saw I picked up a couple things from Sonia Kashuk a few weeks back (some lashes – that are TO DIE FOR), one of her makeup bags and this very intriguing brow kit..

This is in the same kind of packaging as the Hidden Agenda Concealer palette that I’ve loved for quite a long time now.

Directions and ingredients included. No animal testing! 🙂

You get 4 different cream shades.

“12” is the only palette shade available.

A brunette shade, a red toned, and two lighter shades great for blondes.

The idea for kits like these are to mix and match, to create the best shade for you. I always love picking up things like this because finding the perfect shade for my brows is an ongoing project.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t wowed by this. The texture is very light and somewhat greasy feeling.. These swatches were applied heavily..  Once applied with a brush, they are quite light.

The lasting-power is okay. Not spectacular but if applied over a brow wax or under a brow gel, I’d say you can prolong it a bit more.

I really wanted to love this but it’s definitely not a product for me; I prefer a more dramatic brow (although half the time I get too lazy and don’t go dramatic 😛 ) Between the texture and lighter pigmentation, I would recommend this to someone starting out and who is inexperienced with filling in their brows; It’s a fairly fool proof palette, and the light pigmentation keeps you from going overboard. I’d also recommend this for women who wouldn’t want a dramatic brow and who just needs a slight fill-in.
