Hey beauties! Last week I stopped into Sephora and picked up a few things, I’m a point hoarder – I never cash them in! I’m always waiting to see what perks will come out that are worthy and when I saw the Nars Cult Favorites set, I finally gave in.
The Cult Favorites set comes with:
The Satin Lip Pencil in Rikugien, the blush in Deep Throat, Larger Than Life Long-Wear Eyeliner in Via Veneto and a sample of the Pro-Prime Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base.
Keep in mind these are all sample sizes!
The lip pencil’s net weight is 0.05 Oz/ 1.7 g – I’d say it’s about half the size of the Satin Lip Pencils.
Rikugien is a rosey frosted pink, very shiney and pretty. It would look great on any skin tone and the pigmentation is really nice.

The Larger Than Life Long-Wear eyeliner is 0.01 Oz/ 0.3 g – This is maybe around 1/3 the size of the full size pencils.
Via Veneto is a super black matte liner, I haven’t tried this on my lid but I have worn it on my waterline and the lasting power is nice. I like this so far!

Sample of the Smudge Proof eyeshadow base… I wish they put a larger sample in here! Haven’t tried this yet.

Ah, of course I saved the best for last! Deep Throat. 0.14 Oz/ 4g – The full size is 0.16 Oz so this is an amazing sample size.
Appropriate to be included in the Cult Favorites, it’s insanely raved about… Looking at it in the pan, it doesn’t look too special but once you put it on your cheeks? Oh my goodness!!!!
It’s a stunning shade, even the swatch doesn’t do it justice. It really comes alive when you put it on; a peachy coral with a beautiful glowy shimmer. Not glittery at all… Just a glow. You can even skip out on a highlight when wearing this. It brightens up your face beautifully. I didn’t expect to love this as much as I do and I think I may need to pick up the full size!
